Boscia Haul

For months I had been reading about Boscia. After following them on Instagram I had to try their products. A little background on Boscia, their name means Botanical Science. They were developed in Japan about 37 years ago. What got me is that their products are 100% preservative free. The way the produce their products is really cool, they use a clean room  method where no human contact occurs. (So cool!!)

So let’s get to the good stuff. So I bought myself these products as a Valentine’s day gift to myself. (awww) I bought 6 items and got 3 samples.

The first two items I used was the Detoxifying Black Cleanser and the Konjac Sponge.

I bought this cleanser because I feel like I have big pores and I have oily skin. All the reviews were good so I was like “why not?” The Konjac Sponge is so cool. I really like this little magical puff ball.  Great reviews on this too, so I got it. For those of you wondering what “Konjac” is, it’s a root. When I opened the package for the Konjac Sponge I was surprised to see that it was kind of rough but not super abrasive. I used one pump of the Black Cleanser and put it right on the sponge. I put a little bit of water on the sponge as well and just starting washing my face. I love this Konjac Sponge. I really felt like it was exfoliating my skin. I added a little bit more water and the I could feel the cleanser’s warming effect. This cleanser lathers up rather nicely too. The more water the sponge gets the softer is gets. When wet it is gentle enough to use around the eye area, I use it to take my eye makeup off with no problems. After cleansing I rinsed the Konjac Sponge, squeezed out the water and hung it up to dry. It has a string attached so it makes it easy to hang somewhere to dry. My skin felt so soft and it did not feel stretchy or dry.

The next product I used was the Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel.

I usually don’t moisturize after cleansing. I know I know I need to be better about that. So I got this moisturizing gel because it helps with minimizing pores and absorbs excess oil. I like the way the gel comes out. Boscia products are packaged using airless components to avoid contamination. There was enough product to use on my face and neck area.

This gel is so cool and by cool I mean it feels cool when applied. My skin felt so fresh. Love this stuff. I have been using these 3 products everyday since my purchase. I am not going to lie, I am hooked.

The next item is a box full of items. This was a great deal. It’s called Art of Multi-Masking which is a mini collection of the Boscia peel off masks.

There were 4 masks, Luminizing Black Mask, Green Tea Oil Control Mask, Bright White Mask and the Cool Blue Calming Mask. Before today I had tried 3 out of 4. So while writing this blog post I have the Cool Blue Calming Mask on. By the way it is very cooling. I love all 4 masks. The blue and green masks seem to have more of a cooling feel to them. My favorite part is when the mask dries and I get to peel it off. I feel like a snake or something lol.

The Luminizing Black Mask reduces the appearance of pores, and it purifying. The Green Tea Oil Control Mask provides oil control (which I need a lot) and is mattifying. The Bright White Mask helps with hyperpigmentation by brightening. The Cool Blue Calming Mask is cooling. Very cooling. This mask hydrates. Yay I am hydrating my skin. I am definitely going to buy the full size version of these masks. It is hard to choose a favorite. I suggest trying them. I use these masks on a weekly basis. It also came with a brush but i just apply the mask with my fingers.

The next two products I have been using but not consistently are the Black Charcoal Blotting Linens and the White Charcoal Mattifying Makeup Setting Spray.

I have oily skin, which some say is not a curse but to me it is. I feel like my make up gets gross after like 2 hours. The blotting linens I like. I feel I have to use like four at a time, but then again I have really oily skin. Also I feel the need to get every single section of my face and they get the job done.

I will keep purchasing these, they fit perfectly in your wallet or small purse. The White Charcoal Mattifying Makeup Setting Spray is made with white charcoal and locks moisture in and keeps makeup in place. The spray would be a nice mist at first but now it sprays out in droplets. It doesn’t spray consistently. I don’t find it to be very mattifying for me. I just started using it before applying my makeup and after applying my make up. That seems to be helping but I think I need to use the product more.

I received 3 samples. The Purifying Cleansing Gel which I love and will more than likely get the full size bottle. The Super Charge Overnight Moisture, I liked that it was not greasy. The BB Cream, I don’t know how I feel about it. It seemed like there wasn’t enough for me to use (Sorry did not take a pic of BB cream).

Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. I bought a lot of products from the Pore Minimizing Line. You can take the quiz on their website and it will list the best products for your skin concerns. They have a rewards program which I think is awesome!! They also always seem to have some sort of special offer going on. I definitely see myself buying more of their products in the future and sharing with all of you. I recommend checking them out, they have a 100% guarantee.
